Farne Salmon & Trout Ltd. is one of the UK's leading food manufacturers, producing premium quality smoked salmon and fish based delicatessen products for a major retailer in Britain and for export. The company is now a full member of the British Safety Council, and as such is committed to Health, Safet and Environmental best practice. Farne have just become a registered centre for the BSC Awards Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work. In order to deliver products to our customers, we require a variety of skills including Finance, Engineering, Technical, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, Product Development, Planning, Human resources and of course production operators. Depending on the time of year we require extra process operators to fulfil our orders and we offer a variety of shift patterns as follows:
Full time hours Monday – Friday: -Early shift 1 6.00-14.00 (Breaks: 2 x 20 mins) -Early shift 2 6.00-14.30 (Breaks:
2 x 15 mins & 1 x 30 mins) -Backshift 14.30-22.30 (Breaks: 2 x 20 mins - carries a 10% pay premium) Kiln Shifts – Added Value Factory and Wet Fish only - rotational basis of 3 days on and 3 days off - Days 06.00 -18.00 -Night Hygiene (includes attendance allowance) Monday – Thursday 21.00 - 05.30
-Lunchtime Monday – Friday 10.00-14.00 -Twilight Monday – Friday 17.00
